Kyabirwa Surgical Center (KSC) was a 2024 nominee for the International Telecommunication’s Union World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) under the category Action Line C7 (ICT applications; benefits in all aspects of life - E-health).

KSC emerged as one of the 360 digital projects nominated among 1049 submitted globally and received 1,000 votes supporting the center's submission.
